Sir. If a group of people on horseback, accompanied by their pet dogs, announce that they are going for an invigorating ride in the country, with no intention whatsoever of hunting foxes, what are the authorities going to do? Send mounted police to accompany them?Riding is good exercise, and therefore to be commended by this government. The wearing of pink is a positive move, in this safety conscious world, to ensure that no walker accidentally wanders into their path. Of course, they should also sound their horns to provide additional warning.I look forward to seeing such groups for many years to come.
