OPINIONS OF PETERBORIANS

Interesting given that our dear MP claims an overwhelming support amongst her constituents for a ban...

The vote asked what you thought should happen to fox hunting. The final result, at 9:30am January 11th 2001 was:

Total ban on hunting - 22%
Licensed hunting - 5%
Self-regulation of hunting - 73%

This result probably reflects the strong support for our local, Fitzwilliam Hunt. Established in 1760, the hunt remains resolute against opposition, including local MP Helen Brinton and hunt saboteurs.
